What is a campaign

 A campaign is a series of advertisements using different marketing tools that are used to promote a business or event to a target audience. A marketing campaign can be seen as similar to a military structure. A key part of campaigning is about timing and positioning. The advertisements need to be as effective as possible which means getting as many people to see them as possible. For example if you are producing a Christmas film it would be wise to link it with the build up to Christmas. The campaign could run from end of summer through to Christmas so its relatable to the build up to Christmas and people will get exited about it.
