Eminem digipack analysis

This is a very basic digipack front cover and in general not really what you would expect from Eminem. However he has chosen two colours that contrast well and look very sinister. The font also seems to match the album name and looks like some sort of futuristic font that would be used in something like Halo.

This is the back of the digipack and as you can see the colouring is the same which is very conventional for a digipack however tis time he has a picture of himself. This is very common particularly for rappers who like themselves to be seen however it is slightly unconventional to have the picture on the back as opposed to the front.

The two inside covers however don't follow this black and gold colour scheme and instead are purely just photos of Eminem himself. This could be for a number of reasons however i believe it works very well as you open up the digipack going from a dark blank page and it's almost as if Eminem is making it as if he's opening up on himself and is now much more of an open book which is likely what a lot of his songs are about.
